How to promote the Nordic destinations on the same action to tourism professionals?

Objective

To promote the destinations Iceland, Finland and Norway on the same event as well as their partners (receptive, service providers, Tourism Offices, airlines) on a B2B target through key messages in order to develop the product offer on the French market, to reinforce the visibility, to qualify the visitors and to generate business opportunities for the partners of each Tourism Office.

Tactics

Organisation of a face-to-face workshop, “Rendez-vous en Terres Nordiques”, for the tourist offices of Iceland, Finland and Norway in Paris in May 2022. Around thirty partners joined the 3 destinations to this event. Organised from 2pm to 10pm, with the possibility to make appointments beforehand, the event was aimed at French travel agents and TOs. From 8pm onwards, the meetings were followed by an afterwork/networking session, giving tourism professionals the opportunity to exchange ideas in a more informal.
