In September 2017, VizEat acquired its main competitor, the American Eatwith, and since January 2018, the start-up has been consolidating all of its experiences under the Eatwith brand.The site also announced the acquisition of the London platform Grub Club, reinforcing its position as a world leader in immersive culinary experiences at home.Eatwith was born in 2014 from the idea that the meal invites to meet and share and that it is the gateway to the culture of a country, a region or a city.The platform brings together guests around the table, the first social network.The site and applications have more than 25,000 guests offering immersive dining experiences (dinners, market visits, cooking classes, brunches) in 130 countries.
